From time to time Helen Masters runs one off dog training workshops, such as Reactive Dog Workshops, Recall Workshops, children’s summer training camps, or Summer Special Training days.

Helen Masters Academy – Stage 1 Behaviour. This brand new course is for anyone wanting to become a dog trainer or behaviourist. Alternatively, if you are a passionate dog owner and want to improve your knowledge, this course is for you.

WORKSHOP & COURSE DATES:

Saturday 11th May: Puppy Class Course
Six week course with our very own Underdog, Lizzie Upton.
Lizzie has completed her Stage 1 Behaviour and spent many hours under Helen’s tutelage.
This essential pup start programme at Helen’s farm in Smarden is just £95. 

Saturday 18th May: Recall Workshop
This popular workshop doesn’t run very often!
Thanks to Lizzie on hand, we can take on up to 15 dogs in this thorough one-day course.
Helen and Lizzie will give you all the tools and tricks for successful recall.
Perfect for holidays with your dog and summer walks.
Held at Helen’s farm in Smarden.
Course cost: £150.

Friday 24th May: Dog Safety Seminar
This is the course you need if you walk in social groups with other dog owners or have multiple dogs. It’s also ideal for canine business owners such as dog walkers or pet sitters. Learn how to break up fights and keep yourself safe. 
Time: 07:00 – 08:00pm in Helen’s paddock on her farm and just £50.

Sunday 26th May: Social Walk
Meet at The Flying Horse pub in Smarden for a 10:30 start. 
Depending on numbers we may split into two groups with the second starting at 12:00. Confirmation on timings depending on your dog’s personality upon booking.
Low key walk with Helen on hand if needed.
Places limited and priced at just £25.

Tuesday 28th May: Kids Safety Workshop
A busy half term morning learning to be safe around dogs. Kids get to meet Neville and learn how to safely approach a dog (with owner’s permission) and what to do if a dog approaches them which they aren’t sure of. 
Children under 8 are welcome but adults must stay with them. 8’s and over can be dropped off.
Time: 10:30 – 12:30 at Helen’s Farm in Smarden and just £15. 

Sunday 9th June: Social Walk (Impulse Control)
For dogs who can’t help themselves but get too excited, annoy other dogs, bark, yap and pull about, causing their owner stress and anxiety. 
We meet at The Flying Horse pub in Smarden at 10am for a two hour walk under Helen’s instruction. 
£50, places limited. 

Saturday 22nd – Sunday 23rd June: Reactive Workshop
Theory session (no dogs) on Saturday 10:30 – 12:30 at Pluckley Village Hall.
Practical session with your dog 10:30 – 12:30 in the Paddock on Helen’s farm in Smarden.
This is a small, intimate group so you can learn to safely and confidently cope with your dog’s reactivity. Price £200.
